I wanted to take a moment and thank Miss Jamie at the Wint Nature Center. We learned yesterday that the Puddle Jumpers Series has ended. My son, Theo, and I have attended most of the Puddle Jumper programs over the last 4 years. We have loved every experience Miss Jamie and the series has given us. Miss Jamie has a way with kids that is unmatched. She know how to make a boring topic fun, how to get down on to the kids level and how to make a shy and uncertain kid (like Theo) love nature and the outdoors.
We will not be attending the new weekly series since it doesn't fit with our schedule or lifestyle. Miss Jamie has become someone Theo has made a connection with and loves to see. He lights up every time we walk in the doors and Miss Jamie is there with a "Hello Theo" and the biggest smile. We will miss the teachings, fun activities and overall excitement of Puddle Jumpers Series, but we will return to see Miss Jamie.
