I chaperoned my son’s 3rd grade field trip to Wint Nature Center a few weeks ago and I still am thinking about it.
All of the 4 rotations offered something new and fun. From racing cars down ramps of different textures, force and motion talk, live animals to the hike - our kids enjoyed it and learned from all parts.
A special shout out to Miss Jamie who led our hike. She was “cooking,” which when I asked the 3rd graders what that meant, I learned it means that she was awesome! She was informative, engaging( for both kids and adults) and most of all fun! You can tell how much she loves her job and how good she is at it. She also solved a problem for me and kept me updated on her progress, which is another reason why I am writing this almost 2 weeks later, an example of excellent customer service,
